Do You Really Need To Find The Consumer Rated Best Facial Moisturizer? No

It makes sense to look for a consumer rating of a product before you buy doesn’t it? Doesn’t that give you an unbiased view of a product before you buy it?

Makes sense doesnt it? And for this reason there are people who look for consumer ratings on skin care products so that they can find the consumer rated best facial moisturizer.

And why not?

But lets have a think about this. Skin care products are extremely difficult to rate. Why? Well for a number of reasons.

If you were rating a toy for child as an example you could rate it reasonably objectively. Does it work? Does the child play with it and like it? Is it good value? Does it break? Easy.

But how about rating skin care products like facial moisturizers? Not so easy. Because the result you get may be entirely different from the result that someone else gets from the same product.

And that’s because the result that you get can be subjective. What you think is an improvement may be what someone else doesnt.

So I don’t agree with looking for consumer ratings of skin care products, and in fact I don’t even know of somewhere you can find a solid reliable database of consumer ratings of skin care products like facial moisturizers.

I suggest a different approach. Why not try a product yourself and see how well it works for you, and if it doesn’t work then just get  your money back?

Impossible you say? Well if you buy the big brand name skin care products you may have a distinct lack of success trying to get your money back because you think they’ve done nothing for your skin.

It’s not going to happen is it?

But I also believe that a company that markets a product should stand by their product, and offer a money back guarantee.
